Wild Tulip of Agen

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

May I present, the tulip of Agen, brought to Europe by the Romans nearly two thousand years ago from the Orient. Thriving in field until fifty years ago, brought  by chemical to endangered life form. No more in the Orient. In Europe, a few crops left to survive. How humble and happy am I, to be a caretaker of such a treasure.
