Timid whipsnake

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

Timid whipsnake, elusively living, discreetly creeping, under garden bush. Only flashes of you I see. But today you came to visit, in the rosebush by the door. Once in a lifetime greeting, between you and I.

  1. This snake and one or two others have been living in our garden for years. I seldom see them. I did jump the day before when I saw movement but no snake. But seeing him eye to eye I knew he was curious too, and more afraid than I. However, I did respect his space!
