Time passes in colour

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Roy G. Biv.”

Yellow gorse dazzles on hillside green,
Bluebell carpets the forest glade,
White daisies sway in gentle breeze,
Purple flash of foxglove king,
Fuchsia finery the boughs decorate,
Orange fireflames blaze the trail,
Blackberry clusters in hedgerow bramble,
Golden leaf settles on mossy bank,
Crimson beads adorn yuletide holly,
Time passes in colour…in Ireland. (1999)
