Aygo tebio-Warm waters

Aygo tebio (warm waters). The thermal waters that run through Le Vallon de Salut, were used from the sixteenth century onwards for the spa baths of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, Haute-Pyrénées.

  1. What an extraordinary river bed … like paving slabs of water. The language will have a direct link to the Romans. They were embedded for long enough to make a mark. The name of the village is resonant of the basque influence. It is a much fought over and occupied land …..

      1. Of course it could be a simple as the Latin influence on Spanish languages enjoy your delvings and do share what you find out!
